Shorts + booties + sweater = my Fall uniform. Fall in Texas is a bit of a challenge. Some days still reach 90 degrees so if you’re out in the sun, you’ll be hot during the day, but once the sun sets, it’s down in the 60s. I roll my eyes every time I see a high of 90+ this far into October, but at least I get to keep my favorite combination on repeat. (Gotta end on a pro!)The perfect denim cutoff to me is like the perfect t-shirt– the search never ends, because I think I can never own too many. Although, I think I’ve found my go- to brand for cutoffs. These One Teaspoon shorts are paying for themselves in regards to CPW (cost per wear). I think the cut is so flattering on the legs and they are so comfortable. I bought a size up from my regular jean size because nothing is less appealing to me than skin tight shorts that ride up like a diaper.I bought these Matisse nugent booties last year after having them haunt me from the previous year. They were such a great investment and add a little excitement to any outfit. They are really comfortable so I can wear them all day + night, plus the little wedge is the perfect leg lift. There are several other colors available, too. I’m seriously eyeing the dalmatian print.
Can I add how much I love shopping small? When I bought these One Teaspoon shorts at Riffraff I got 30% off for doing the “bop” dance for their snap chat story. How amazing is that?! I’ll dance anytime but especially to save some money when shopping.
