Gimme the Gold

I love gold. Whether it’s as an accent around my home, jewelry, or clothing I am always drawn to it. I thought this sweater (c/o Zaful) was perfect for around the holidays, especially New Years. I’ll keep wearing it after the holidays are over, too. It’s so comfortable and makes an effortlessly glam outfit no matter how you style it. I paired it here with a raw edge black skinny jean, a classic pump, and a red lip for a date night or night out look. I’ve also worn it with a leather skirt and sneakers. I’ve been living in these jeans since I got them. The raw hem denim trend is definitely my favorite right now. I just got another denim pair by this same designer. They fit so well, are comfortable, and don’t stretch out too much. This exact pair has already sold out on a few sites but I found them fully stocked and linked them for you all!

Despite my love for gold, I didn’t want a gold engagement ring. I think white gold or platinum is much more classic so that is what I wanted (and got). I’ll be adding gold into the mix by doing multiple bands stacked around it, two of which I want to be gold. I’m shopping around for some online, but love this style so far for the gold ones. I’d rather have the diamonds go all the way around so the search continues.
