I’m not typically a big girly-girl. Therefore, making me picky when it comes to ruffles. The layered ruffle sleeve on this top passed the test for me. The solid powder blue color and the off-the-shoulder style were too good to pass up. The ruffles were sort of an added bonus. I loved the dimension they added to the top and the whole outfit. This top also comes in a white light-sweater like material that is amazing. It’s also linked (above and at the end of the post) for you to shop!
I LOVE white and blue paired together come Spring and since our temperatures have been screaming Spring, I just went for it. I love white jeans year round (as seen here and here), but something about them paired with blue just is so clean and fresh to me. Which, is what Spring and the warmer temperatures following colder days is all about. A fresh take and a fresh outlook. My mood is instantly uplifted when it’s sunnier and warmer outside and I feel like I always can accomplish more with a more positive attitude. Weird it might seem if you don’t relate, but this little psychology nerd knows there is some science behind it all. I won’t bore you with that now though.
Instead, let’s talk about these SHOES. If you follow along on Instagram and watch my stories, then you know I was debating between these or another pair. The overwhelming response was for these and I am oh so glad I didn’t pass up the chance to get them. They also come in black and I know they’ll sell out quick this Spring. The light beige color, the cut out details, and the peep toe all make these the perfect transitional shoe. I haven’t stopped wearing them since I got them and don’t plan to any time soon.
I added a little more color to this outfit with a multi-color statement earring. They have a little bit of blue in them to tie it all together and really, these earrings go with so many colors. I find myself adding them to outfits and just feeling like they complete the look all the time. Plus, they are surprisingly light despite how they look!

Have you started This is Us yet? I got sucked in last week and am almost caught up. A ton of people have said they cry almost every episode. I am not much of a cryer, (even though those dang Sarah McLaughlin abandoned animal commercials get me every time without fail), so I haven’t shed tears yet, but it is a heart warming and thought-provoking show that brings up all kinds of feels. It has a little expected ‘prime time’ cheesiness, but regardless, I’m enjoying it. Hope you all are having a great week so far! XO
Omigosh! That blouse is absolutely the most gorgeous blouse I’ve ever seen. Love how you styled it.
