Another week, another work wear look. In case you missed it last week, I brought back Workwear Wednesday! I’ll be doing my best to get a new, work-friendly look up once a week. I know that everyone has different expectations for what they should wear to work, so I want to share pieces that you can make work for you! Also, I will be keeping them all budget-friendly.
This little black workwear dress is such an easy piece to throw on. I kept it classic with pumps and then threw this burgundy coat over for a little bit of color. Plus, I’m always cold, so I often wear my outwear around during the day at work. This tote is big enough to fit a snack or two in it and anything else I need at work, which I love.
I talked last week about how I like to find work pieces I can also wear outside of the office. Being able to repurpose them from day to night allows me to get more bang for my buck and not be sad to spend money on something I can only wear to work. A black dress I can wear to work is a piece I don’t mind spending a little on, because I know I will get so much use out of it. I wanted to share a black dress with you all today that you can wear to the office or out and about. This one is flowy and comfortable and a great price point for the quality. It was a little shorter on me and the crazy wind this day didn’t help, so I know it may not work for every office space like this When in doubt, throw a pair of tights underneath. I have a long torso, so things tend to be a little shorter on me. I always go for the arms down trick to make sure my dress is finger tip length so it isn’t too short.

Most of these are under or right around $100! You’ll get great CPW (cost per wear) out of them! Whenever I stand in my closet and don’t know what I want to wear to work, I reach for a LBD first. It’s just so effortless!

I’m not usually a polka-dot girl, but I like the subtle dot-print on this dress. Is it also strange that ever since I cut my hair (read more on that here) I feel like it’s more professional and work-friendly than my super long hair. That may be weird, haha but.. I like it!
What is your go to work look? Do you have a favorite place to shop for work wear? I linked to most of my go to places above, but always love discovering new places, so share your favs if I missed any! XO
