Military Shirt Dress + OTK boots

Military shirt dress + OTK bootsMilitary style clothing has been a go-to of mine for quite some time. It’s classic, easy, and has a little edge. I have this shirt dress in blue denim, too and it’s just so comfortable and easy that when I saw it in green I had to snag it. Plus, the price point makes it too easy to resist. I styled this military shirt dress with OTK boots and threw on my new favorite choker (that I can’t stop wearing) and these round sunnies. I kept joking while taking the pictures that it would be an easy Top Gun Halloween costume and to just call me Maverick. I threw this on over skinny black jeans last week and wore it to work, too.

 Shop this look below:

If you haven’t jumped on the OTK (over the knee) boot train yet, go for it. They are so versatile and flattering. I really feel like they look good on everyone. I love ones that aren’t too tight at the top and that tie on the back so they stay up easier. If your boots don’t tie or even zip up to stay on you, chances are they will stretch out and whenever you walk in them, they’ll fall down. It can be super frustration (I know from past experience) and I basically got to a point where I couldn’t wear the boots with anything but skinny jeans. As it gets colder out, OTK boots are great as a layering piece on your legs, especially when you’ll be outside walking. My personal favorites are the flat ones or those with a block heel, as they make it easier to walk around and wear them for a few hours at a time.Military shirt dress + OTK bootsMilitary shirt dress + OTK bootsMilitary shirt dress + OTK bootsMilitary shirt dress + OTK bootsMilitary shirt dress + OTK bootsMilitary shirt dress + OTK bootsMilitary shirt dress + OTK boots

You may notice that I gave the blog a little update! The layout is a little different and I’ve added some new features. In the navigation bar, you’ll notice a ‘shop’ section  under which I have a LiketoKnowit section where you can shop all of my Instagrams in one place just by clicking through the photos. I’ll be adding my wishlists or things I’m currently covering next, followed by some holiday gift guides and my favorite places to shop online. I’ll also be adding some wedding content, soon. Don’t worry this won’t turn into a wedding blog. It’s obviously a big part of my life right now and I know those with a wedding (or looming engagement) on their mind will find it useful. I’d love your feedback on the new layout, features, and more that you’d like to see!
