Red, White, & Blue -

This is the first 4th of July I’ll be spending in the good ole US of A in a few years. Last year we were in South America (Rio, specifically) and the year before that we were in Italy. With the exception of Sunday, we really don’t have specific plans for the weekend, which I am so excited about! Sometimes no plans are the best plans. I know there are some hot dogs, rosé, and s’mores in my future though. On Sunday, one of my best friends is throwing a pool/day party in their backyard complete with a food truck and lots of cold adult beverages. Besides that, we’ll be having relaxing pool and puppy time. I’ll also be decked out in red, white, and blue all weekend!

It’s pretty convenient for me that denim is blue since I basically live in it. I just posted these amazing heels with a dress here, but I loved pairing them with cutoffs for a fun twist on this otherwise casual look. Plus, they were my perfect little pop of red for this holiday-approved outfit without doing a red lip.
