Something about wearing deep orange in Texas makes everyone ask you if you’re a Texas Longhorn fan. No, y’all. I just like rust in the cooler months. Okaaaay?! Whether you’re a Longhorn fan or not, ‘rust or bust’ should be your mindset. It’s such a fun color and it goes with so much. I think it looks good on every skin tone and pairs perfectly with denim. The ties on this sweater give it such a fun detail, too. It’s also a steal at under $40. It says it’s plum online, but it looks like more of a rust in person! I added a statement earring that not only complemented the rust color, but also added a few others.
If you haven’t snagged a pair of these booties, just do it already. They come in like 12 colors and are so comfortable. I wear them constantly. Booties are one of the best investment pieces. I wear them year round! Investing in a well made pair (like these) will keep them lasting year-after-year.
I’m so thankful to live in Texas because we’ll be going from 20 degrees to 60 degrees this week. I am SO not a cold weather person. I like it for short periods of time, but then get over it real quick. This weekend was definitely spent indoors most of the time minus a few quick blog photos on Sunday. I started a puzzle to keep me entertained throughout my Whole 30, watched a ton of Netflix, cleaned, cooked, and did some work (both on the blog and for my day job).
