If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know how much I love jumpsuits. I call them the one outfit wonder and just can’t get enough. I love how chic they look and that you can find a jumpsuit for any occasion. I love finding comfy jersey ones to run errands or travel in and finding nicer ones to dress up for weddings. No matter what the occasion is, you can find a jumpsuit for it. That’s why today I am sharing my spring jumpsuit guide featuring this cute mixed media backless jumpsuit. We’ll start first with my love for jumpsuits. I think they are so easy to dress up or down and to layer over. Plus, I love that they make my shorter legs seem longer than they actually are. Especially when paired with heels. I feel a little sassier with a jumpsuit on, too. Something about them is just like oh hiii I just threw this on and I’m fabulous. They are probably my favorite clothing item to make a statement in.

This one is a great price point and I love the back detail. The racer stripe down the side contrasts with the plaid to give the otherwise classic pattern a bit of an edge. The flared leg shape only further elongates the leg and gives it a retro feel. I styled this one with a belt to accentuate my waist a bit more. I went with easy, block heeled black sandals and a matching black bag and topped off the look with my glitter aviators that make every look more fun. I hope all of you are having a great week so far! I have a shoot after work today per usual and then Charles and I have a double dinner date. The spring is such a busy time at work for me, so I worked a head as much as I could over the weekend. I’m trying to get better about more work-life balance, so I’ve been taking Friday evenings and all day on Saturdays when possible off from any work and it makes such a big difference! If you find yourself struggling with balance, I encourage you to look at ways you can give yourself a break more often, too. I notice that when I do that, I work harder and with a better attitude when I am working. XO
