Helllloo sweater season! It’s finally here and I type this as I have a big bowl of homemade chili on my mind and will definitely be making some this week. As soon as the temps drop I want sweaters, warm coffee, and hot soup. Let me clarify that Texas sweater weather means its in upper 70s. I roll up my sleeves of my (lightweight) sweater and pair it with shorts. Otherwise, I’d be too hot and end up glistening. Regardless, there is nothing cozier than curling up in something so soft and cozy! I’ve got a little while til I can pair it with jeans, so shorts in the mean time is fine by me. Shorts, sweaters, and booties are sort of my Fall uniform. Plus, it helps keep me motivated during those leg workouts. This sweater is a steal at under $35. Sweaters can get pricey so when I find one at such a good deal I can’t say no. It’s not too heavy either so it’s great for this transition before it gets too cold outside. When it is a little cooler, it will be easy to layer this sweater.

I’ve been loving some red lips lately. I linked my current favorite shade above. It gives such a fun little twist to your usual look! Also, this hair style has to be my life savor when dry shampoo just isn’t quite doing the trick on my dirty hair. Its so easy and fun. Paired with a choker its giving these 90 vibes I just can’t help but love right now. The pre-teen version of myself just loves reminiscing on so many of my favorite trends!
That is such a lovely knit, I agree it will be so easy to layer for cooler weather too. I think the shorts and ankle boots combo, it’s a great outfit idea but one that you don’t get to enjoy often as the weather has to be just right!
