This week I started to feel the initial surge of craziness with the holidays just around the corner! There were so many sales & things going on & there were quite a few moments when I felt like my to do list never stopped growing. I will be taking some time this week to get ahead so I don’t run into these feelings again next week! I will of course be taking time to relax, unwind, & chill, too. The balance is good & necessary for the soul! Before we jump into the weekend, I have another edition of The Weekly Lo Down to share! I have been on a major hat kick (I blame melasma) & just got this adorable leopard baseball hat. It’s so cute & would make a great, affordable gift.
I ordered this curling iron while it was on sale for Prime Day! It just came in & I can’t wait to use it. I’ll do a comparison with my old one for you all. I’ve heard it helps with damage though! For a detailed, step-by-step video of how I do my hair, check out my how I curl my hair post.
I’ll probably be working on this puzzle all weekend that I ordered from my September wishlist post. It’s so cute & would be such a good one to frame after finishing it!
I got in two new activewear pieces for cooler weather this week & love them too much to wait & share. I got this hoodie jacket & this hoodie pullover. They are perfect for throwing over your workout clothes to go outside when it is colder or for running errands/working from home post workout.
We ordered this console table for a side wall in our new family room & it will be delivered at the end of the month! I can’t wait to style it & see more of this space come together.

I’m dying to hear about your reviews on melasma products!!!
I just got this new product & this new product. However, it’s only been a few weeks. I try my skincare out for at least a few weeks & preferably until the bottle is empty before I share with you all! With melasma though, it’s such a stubborn skin condition, that I won’t have full reviews on what I think really works for some time. I am going to see a dermatologist in a few weeks to chat more about melasma & treatments, products, etc so I can share her recommendations after that, too. Sorry I don’t have more info just yet, but I want to be sure what I share WORKS!
Holiday outfits
I am working on getting holiday outfits together for you all! If you need Halloween clothing I did a post about that. For Thanksgiving clothing, I’ll have more options up soon, but in the mean time you can’t go wrong with the Spanx faux leather leggings & an oversized sweater with booties. I also love to wear a comfortable sweater dress!

How to organize / prepare to organize a closet. #sos
Before you get started I suggest buying hangers that match. This makes SUCH a difference in how organized your closet feels. I have these or I love these as well. Next, organize everything by type of item: jackets, tops, sweaters, jeans, activewear, dresses. Then, color coordinate those items. Decide what works best to be folded or hung up! I fold my jeans, activewear, & loungewear. Once you have it all organized & color coded you can hang it & group items in the same category together. I do mine in the same color scheme- light to dark, across all item types so it feels uniformed!
