This week I started to feel the initial surge of craziness with the holidays just around the corner! There were so many sales & things going on & there were quite a few moments when I felt like my to do list never stopped growing. I will be taking some time this week to get ahead so I don’t run into these feelings again next week! I will of course be taking time to relax, unwind, & chill, too. The balance is good & necessary for the soul! Before we jump into the weekend, I have another edition of The Weekly Lo Down to share! If you’re new, this is a weekly post where I share sort of everything from my fav online finds of the week or things you may have missed on stories, answers to your questions & link requests, weekend deals, discount codes, recent blog posts, & a charitable cause to consider supporting. It’s become one of my favorite resources to put together for you all!
The Weekly Lo Down | 10.16.2020
Did you all catch my buffalo cauliflower recipe tutorial on stories this week? It’s a must make! I also shared a bit about our air fryer + indoor grill. It’s currently sale for under $100! It has 12 different cooking functions (also works as a slow cooker, for rice, a steamer, & so much more) & would make a great gift.
Please say hello to the most gorgeous pair of brown faux leather pants. I love the high waist!
I have been on a major hat kick (I blame melasma) & just got this adorable leopard baseball hat. It’s so cute & would make a great, affordable gift.
I ordered this curling iron while it was on sale for Prime Day! It just came in & I can’t wait to use it. I’ll do a comparison with my old one for you all. I’ve heard it helps with damage though! For a detailed, step-by-step video of how I do my hair, check out my how I curl my hair post.
I got in two new activewear pieces for cooler weather this week & love them too much to wait & share. I got this hoodie jacket & this hoodie pullover. They are perfect for throwing over your workout clothes to go outside when it is colder or for running errands/working from home post workout.
We ordered this console table for a side wall in our new family room & it will be delivered at the end of the month! I can’t wait to style it & see more of this space come together.
I’m dying to hear about your reviews on melasma products!!!
I just got this new product & this new product. However, it’s only been a few weeks. I try my skincare out for at least a few weeks & preferably until the bottle is empty before I share with you all! With melasma though, it’s such a stubborn skin condition, that I won’t have full reviews on what I think really works for some time. I am going to see a dermatologist in a few weeks to chat more about melasma & treatments, products, etc so I can share her recommendations after that, too. Sorry I don’t have more info just yet, but I want to be sure what I share WORKS!
I am working on getting holiday outfits together for you all! If you need Halloween clothing I did a post about that. For Thanksgiving clothing, I’ll have more options up soon, but in the mean time you can’t go wrong with the Spanx faux leather leggings & an oversized sweater with booties. I also love to wear a comfortable sweater dress!
Solid long sleeve tees
I am working overtime on holiday gift guides for you all! Check back next week & I will have my holiday tab up & running + gift guides for you to shop. I’ll post my top picks in a drop down here & then first in the LiketoKnow.it app so be sure you’re following me there! If you have any specific requests, like gifts for a candle lover or a beer love, let me know so that I can include them!

How to organize / prepare to organize a closet. #sos
Before you get started I suggest buying hangers that match. This makes SUCH a difference in how organized your closet feels. I have these or I love these as well. Next, organize everything by type of item: jackets, tops, sweaters, jeans, activewear, dresses. Then, color coordinate those items. Decide what works best to be folded or hung up! I fold my jeans, activewear, & loungewear. Once you have it all organized & color coded you can hang it & group items in the same category together. I do mine in the same color scheme- light to dark, across all item types so it feels uniformed!
Can you do another Cloffice tour?
Absolutely! I’ve actually been switching a few things around in my Cloffice & once I get it a little more in order I’ll do another tour for all you. In the mean time, ICYMI you can watch the old video tour & see the OG Cloffice reveal here.
What do you do with all the clothes you buy?
Donate, sell on Poshmark, give to friends/family, keep & wear. Just depends!

This week I am sharing the charity I opted to support as a part of my Change with Me plan to continue to support the BLM movement. This month I chose to support Campaign Zero. Campaign Zero encourages policymakers to focus on solutions with the strongest evidence of effectiveness at reducing police violence. Their platform is continuously updated in response to the findings & insights of researchers & organizers nationwide. You can learn more & donate on their site!
I hope you all enjoyed this week’s edition of The Weekly Lo Down! As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or if I can help you all shop for something in particular. I’ll be working on my holiday gift guides this weekend & will start sharing them in the LiketoKnow.it app first so be sure to follow me there to see them ASAP. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. XO
