You’re about to see a lot of a new subtle new detail on clothing from everything from rompers to dresses and even swimwear. I’m talking about the tie front trend. It’s so subtle, but it’s creeping up everywhere and I love it. I’ve been tying up t-shirts into knots on the side or occasionally in the front for years, often just trying to make them fit better. I’ve always loved the little styling detail it adds and apparently I wasn’t the only one. Let’s talk specifically about this dress first. I saw this and immediately thought of vacation. With Italy on my mind when I was shopping the last few weeks, I couldn’t help but imagine how perfect a dress like this would be for daytime with sandals and a hat or at night with a comfortable wedge. I love how classic and feminine it is, but that the tie front adds a little sexy detail. It comes in white as well, which is just perfect for Summer!
I decided to style this dress with flats for more a day time or comfortable evening travel look. These statement slides come in a few colors and patterns and I just love them! The dress brought out the blue tones in the shoes perfectly. I added a white statement earring and a cognac clutch. This clutch is also available in white and black right now and I’m sure it will be out in more colors, soon. These earrings come in like ten colors, so you can stock up and match them to any outfit!

As you all read this we are in Mykonos! Just a few days left on our honeymoon. The end of vacation is always so bitter sweet. While I’m sure by this time we’ll be dying to see our sweet pup, it’s always so sad leaving such amazing places that you fall in love with. Luckily, we have a long weekend trip ahead in just a few weeks to look forward true and help cure our post-honeymoon blues. Hope you all have a wonderful start to your week! XO
