Thanksgiving Decor

Are you one of those people who firmly believe that Thanksgiving needs it’s time before you jump into Christmas? If so, I used to be the same. I loved giving Thanksgiving it’s time after Halloween. Then, the day after Thanksgiving we would decorate for Christmas. The thing is, Thanksgiving decor is more ‘Fall’ decor & it just doesn’t make me as happy as Christmas decor. I’ve had Fall stuff around the house since the end of September & I’m ready for a change. I used to be firm on waiting until after Thanksgiving for Christmas, but I’ve changed my mindset. I look at November 1 as the time to start all things Christmas, with a brief interlude for a few days for Thanskgiving. It’s like when you take a trip to the beach mid winter for a little change in weather or scenery. It’s brief, it serves it’s purpose, & then you’re back.

Sorry Kanye & Thanksgiving, I won’t let you finish before I go into all things Christmas, but I will let you have your time. Per usual, I am kicking off my holiday collages & guides with all things Thanksgiving. You all know that I love a good tablescape, so a lot of these items are simple things that could be used on a tablescape or around the house during Fall for years to come.
