The summers in Texas are scorching hot temperature-wise so honestly, most of us are trying to get by with wearing pretty minimal clothing (can you say workout shorts & tank tops on repeat). By the time October rolls around, I am ready for some cozier, trendier clothes that I can layer. I love keeping an eye on all of the fall trends & trying some myself. This season, there have been some fun fall trends that have popped up & I have fell victim to all of them. I rounded up some of my favorites for you here in this blog post.

The Shacket: Everyone is loving the “shacket” aka the skirt that also doubles as a jacket. It is one of the newest fall trends I have seen. I have gotten my hands on a few of these already & I have to say, they haven’t disappointed. I am loving the ones that are extra long. Sharing some of my favorites below!
Loungewear Sets: If you are like me, you are still spending a lot of time at home on your couch binging Netflix on the weekends. Something about having a matching set of loungewear, makes it feel a bit more acceptable to stay in my comfies all day. Loungewear that is chic? One of the only good things 2020 has brought us. Some of my favorite sets I have gotten recently are below!
Gold Stackable Necklaces: If you follow me in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, you know I am always switching up my necklaces. I love buying quality, beautiful gold necklaces to stack with my outfits. You can pair gold necklaces with loungewear, a casual outfit, and/or something fancy. Something about having a stack of pretty necklaces feels like it takes my outfit to the next level.

White Boots: Remember the old school rule about how you can’t wear the color white past labor day? Well, the rule is dead & gone. White boots are all of the rage & let’s just say I am FULLY on board. I have been wearing these white booties I got on the Nordstrom sale on repeat & these beauties with sweater dresses & skirts!
Sweater Dresses: In previous seasons, I had to do some work to find a comfortable, yet flattering sweater dress. This year, they are literally all over the place. I have found some amazing ones from Target, Amazon & Nordstrom! I love that you can pair them with boots, sneakers, or booties & easily dress them up or down.
Oversized Graphic Tees: Graphic tees are a big trend & the super oversized ones are a newer trend. I have been wearing them as a dress & pairing them with a fun pair of boots. Throw a flannel over & you have a super trendy outfit that doesn’t bust the bank!
Camel Color Coats: Nothing screams a classic fall staple like a camel-colored coat! The best part of these is they will layer over pretty much every outfit so your cost per wear ratio makes this fall trend super worth it.
