I am in full holiday mode. The playlists are going, the holiday scented candles are burning, and I am almost finished shopping for everyone on my list. It is definitely the season of gifting right now, but it’s also the season of shearling! I’m sharing this gorgeous shearling jacket and a few other top picks with you all today, because it is a must have this time of year. The only thing not cooperating fully with holiday mode is our weather. It has been rather chilly in the mornings although it’s like seventy degrees in the afternoons still, which made me realize that I needed to start stocking up on jackets for these cooler temperatures. I was just driving past the mall the other day and saw all the parking lots full, so I knew I did not want to have to actually go in and go shopping. I try to avoid going in the mall around the holidays at all costs! The parking situation alone is enough to make me want to avoid going inside during this busy time, but waiting in lines and people just being EVERYwhere are other reasons I want to avoid it.

I tell you guys all the time that I am obsessed with Nordstrom’s curb side pick up option, but I am more than ever this time of year. I place my orders online, text them when I pull up outside, and they brought everything out to me. They even put it in my car for me. All I had to do was sign for it and I was on my way in a few minutes! It’s seriously amazing!! I ordered a few things this past Saturday morning before brunch, then waited for my text telling me it was ready, and a few hours later I was able to pick up my order and try everything on at home. No lines, no being run into  constantly by people! Best. Service. Ever. Whatever doesn’t work, I just return. It is SO easy! If you don’t like dealing with crowds, I’d definitely recommend this for your holiday shopping. I don’t know what I did before I started using it so much!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We went to the Dead and Company concert with some friends and some of Charles’s family on Friday. It was such an amazing concert and I am so glad we got to go! On Saturday we had brunch and then I had a productive afternoon including some errands, a little bit of work, and cleaning our entire place. Yesterday I shot some new looks and holiday things, then ran a few errands, did some reorganizing and cleaned out my closet, and then worked while binge-watching The Office. We are nearing the end of it and I am having all the feelings. I get so sad when I finish a series!! I’ll definitely re-watch this whole series start to finish again, but not right away. I think it’s about time to start watching my favorite holiday movies on repeat!
