Things are back in full swing for me at work with the kids back at school! I’ll admit, I crashed last Friday around 9:00 at night and slept for a solid twelve hours because I was so exhausted. I know anyone working in a school (or tons of you parents of kiddos going back) probably feel me. One thing I love about going back to school is that it’s basically the kick off of fall. Football season is about to be in full swing, we’re getting a preview of cooler temps (well, some days anyways) & all the beautiful new fall clothing is starting to make it’s debut. I absolutely love this time of year because it’s the perfect time for unexpected pairings! I’m talking shorts & booties, sweaters + skirts, or jackets over your favorite dress from summer. If you’re anything like me you’re already shopping for all things fall & don’t want to have to wait to wear everything.

Today, I’m focusing on the pairing of sweaters + skirts because this is one of my favorite combos. There are so many cute sweaters + skirts available right now that I wanted to round up some of my favorites and show you one styled look to help inspire you to mix & match your favorites on your own!

SKIRTS

I picked my favorite ten skirts to include for you all to shop below. There are both mini & midi skirts. Some come in several colors, too! Midi skirts are great for work or play & there are so many ways to style them. You can easily make mini skirts work into the cooler months by styling them with knee high or over the knee boots. There are skirts in a variety of price ranges included below!

Love your skirt, so chic! Now I can’t wait for the weather to cool down so I can wear sweaters again (and hide my belly fat haha – haven’t worn a bikini once this summer because I’m definitely not fit enough!) ❤️✨

I’m so ready for fall also. With the feel like temperatures yesterday it was 108 here, but in some of the building the a/c is so cold sweaters feel wonderful. I also love shopping at Bloomingdales
