Happy Friday! This week seemed to fly by. It was productive, so I’m looking forward to the slow down of the weekend. My Dad is still in the hospital fighting COVID & has along road ahead in terms of getting his lungs to be healthy again. I got to talk to him on the phone this week & although it was a nice change from texting or talking with doctors, it was hard to hear how much he is struggling right now. I appreciate all of the prayers you all continue to send in. The positive aspect of all of this, is being brought closer with family & finding the joy & good in all the small things. I’ve been going on walks first thing in the morning just to clear my head & appreciate the smallest things along the way. My biggest take away from everything so far in 2020, is to take time to slow down & really appreciate life. It’s all the little things that matter.

We got our bookshelves delivered for our new family room this week, so I just started decorating them. I ordered this cool onyx tray, this glass candle cloche, this cement box, marble bookends, this small petrified wood object, & this extra small planter.
I share the lip mask I love during my PM skincare routine stories (& in the blog post). I just got another one in the vanilla scent. OMG. It’s so good!

Activewear is one of the things I am shopping for most right now! I love these leggings, these leggings, this knotted tank, & this cropped top.

It’s just about too hot for anything in Texas except shorts. I love this pair, this pair, & this pair— all under $100!
I am seriously obsessing over this fun light fixture, but sadly I have no where I need one right now. I have the same problem with this rug & this bookshelf. All so unique!

There has been a lot in the news about child trafficking lately. Regardless of your views on the whole conspiracy, child trafficking is an issue not just worldwide, but here in the US. This week I am sharing Thorn. Thorn was founded after a light was shed on what a major role technology plays in human trafficking & sexual abuse. Thorn realized that technology plays a role in the abuse, but not necessarily in combating it or in helping victims.
