Happy Friday everyone! Truthfully for me, this week has felt like one really long weekend since I have been on a road trip all week. I started in Austin and since then, I have been in West Texas with two of my close friends. We have been driving a ton & checking out all that there is to see in this part of the state. If you have been following along on my Instagram, don’t worry, I am planning to do a full blog post with an in-depth travel guide & all of my recommendations. What is the best way to pack for a 2-week trip if you aren’t sure about the weather?
Such a good question! I should do a full blog post on this one but my main tips would be to pack things that could easily be layered & if it is a long trip like 2 weeks, pack items that are staples (items that are solid neutral colors & ones that go with a ton of different stuff) so you can wear it all on repeat and mix and match it to create different looks without having to do laundry if you do not have access to it. For inspiration, I did a blog post on 12 ways to style one coat and 15 ways to style a cardigan!

Of course! I am an open book. I actually did a blog post here that shares all of the details. Overall, I am so thankful I left & went full time with blogging. It has been great for my health (physical & mental) & it has allowed me to put more effort into posting content I love as well as expand my team.

Looking for blog/influencing advice!
Love it! I am so thankful for this career. I wrote some tips at the end of this blog post that I learned at a conference a few years ago that I think are still applicable & super helpful. The best advice I have is to get started & just go for it. If you are passionate about it & it makes you happy, don’t let the opinions of others worry you. I also recommend starting to create a presence on social media and/or a blog as well as applying to be an influencer at RewardStyle if you haven’t already. Share the Love
The holidays are approaching quickly so I wanted to find an organization that will be helping out those in need during the holidays. I have heard amazing things about the organization called Brother Bill’s Helping Hand in Dallas. They focus on providing food, healthcare, and education programming to those in need in West Dallas and Oak Cliff – two areas not far from where I live. This Christmas, they are having a drive-through event for the families in need on 12/16-12/19. They are in need of donations, toy drive assistance, and help with volunteers at the event. This is a great organization to get involved with this time of year!
